…who that person is on the other side of that dating app, is the picture real, the profile real, or who they are. We can meet them and then what is real and what is fake, we are told we have “fake news”, so I am sure we have ‘fake you’. Is it the name you use, the phone number, your age, your occupation and your sex.
Is it all just to make us feel good, to live in a fantasy world or are we just pretending that what is real is not and what is not is real, to make you feel better after that date, meet up, hook up, netflix and chill?

What do we really want to know anymore, our lives our friends, have all become throw away, we buy fast fashion, here and gone in a season, we block and ghost friends, dates, hook-ups like tomorrow’s trash. We have to get a new phone each year, what is the latest app to be on, what is the hip bar today or new food trend. Do we know about anyone or anything. Really do we want to know or do we want to pretend what who they are when we wake up next to you after a great night of sex. Is this what love is today?

It seems that the more people I meet the more true it becomes
